If you dont want to get notifications of updates from the app store then delete metadata

So if I installed Facebook app via App Store (not AppAddict) and an update get released I won't get any notification from the App Store, right?

Yeah, if you installed it through the appstore and deleted metadata for it, it won't show up in appstore. But note that the delete metadata inside appaddict app only works for apps that have been downloaded through appaddict.

like DbiD said, deleting metadata with appaddict won't affect you AppStore downloaded apps. You would have to manually delete the metadata for AppStore apps.
