A very simple suggestion

I have a friend with an iPod touch 4 with broken buttons on iOS 6.1.6, essentially he can't jailbreak his device because he can't enter DFU mode, and currently p0sixspwn for desktop doesn't support 6.1.6 because ih8sn0w is being a lazy sack (can't blame him though, he has a life and his own things to worry about.)

Which just so happens to be the updated source code for desktop p0sixspwn needed to jailbreak iOS 6.1.6

If anyone would be so kind as to compile it and publish as an executable I'd greatly appreciate it and my friend would even more

You guys seem to be some serious developers here or something, I trust someone here can manage this task easily

How enter DFU with a broken Power/Home button?
NOTE: You may need an older version of iTunes (v1.1.3.8 or below) to avoid errors.

To get last p0sixspwn version for 6.1.6 JB use redsn0w or sn0wbreeze to perform tethered jailbreak and then install p0sixspwn v1.4 on Saurik's repo (apt.saurik.com) to untether it.

Power button won't work, can't jailbreak using redsn0w dfu 6.0 + p0sixspwn method which is the only method for 6.1.6 mentioned

I also know that thing not to do, I checked 5 times how it works before even thinking about it and saw it won't fit

fix you power button, or possible dissasemble it , as the actuall button may not work, but the flex cable does, thus you can poke the flex cable with a pen ... i did this on my iphone 4 to get a jailbreak... and BTW this button failure is almost proof thsa pple designs devices to not last... (ill post pics maybe later)

The problem is that it adds the compatibility to the tool to support 6.1.6, but the problem is that I'm not sure if the exploits work (they should though).

And I still don't know how to compile it xD
