I came up with an idea in the shower a second ago, could we have an optional notes field when you submit a link?

For example i cracked something yesterday which turned out to have crashes, today i submit a working link but it would be nice if i could add a note saying "Crashes fixed" or something otherwise people wouldn't know.

Thanks

I find it kinda pointless. Just report it and mods will remove the faulty links and your new working ones will be in. People who reported it will receive a notification their report was reviewed so they will retry it.

I know but but people won't know if they are fresh links

not really important, it's not possible to push something like this if it was, so with or without note, broken one is removed and new link is alive.

I'd rather have a push instead if there is any new link.

Maybe a Push Notification saying like " New Links Added in for Tracked App: 'NAME' " that will be sent to the user IF they are Tracking / Following the app?

I think it's really useful, crackers can specify what architectures are cracked in the app. users can pick the right link with the suitable architecture for their device

that would be an option if there is no way to crack apps for general devices.

Issue is MOST crackers (even me) dont have a clue what it would be supported on. Its pretty much dependent on the way it was cracked (e.g Clutch / Rasticrac) if im not wrong? So unless the Cracking Script itself adds an identifier in the file-name im pretty sure ppl will submit is incorrectly / not submit cracks (if its a must).

hmm okay, I'll modify Clutch to automatically generate the cracker notes and have a new option to add the available architectures in the filename

******cake allready has this it is called uploaded comments. they do not have it implemented in the iOS app, only the web database. it is a simple submission field were one can write any sort of comment. appaddict definafly needs this. I have a feeling that sonics was leaning more towards shame requirements, definitely also needed, tho this shouldn't be implemented for individual downloads links, but for the whole application information page
